Aston Martin has officially pulled the covers off the 2026 Vantage S, marking a bold evolution for the British marque’s iconic sports car. Blending timeless design with cutting-edge performance, the Vantage S arrives as a more powerful, track-focused sibling to the recently refreshed Vantage, infused with motorsport DNA and attention to detail.
Sharper, Stronger, and Smarter
Under the hood, the 2026 Vantage S features a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8, tuned to deliver an exhilarating 565 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque — a significant upgrade over the standard Vantage. Power is sent to the rear wheels via an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission, propelling the Vantage S from 0-60 mph in just 3.3 seconds, with a top speed of 199 mph.
Engineers at Aston Martin have honed the suspension, fitted stiffer adaptive dampers, and introduced a recalibrated electronic limited-slip differential (eLSD) for razor-sharp cornering dynamics. Carbon ceramic brakes come as standard, providing optimal stopping power for spirited driving or track days.
Designed to Thrill
The design of the Vantage S amplifies its performance intent. A larger front splitter, extended rear diffuser, and a fixed carbon fiber rear wing contribute to improved aerodynamics and increased downforce at high speeds. Unique 20-inch forged alloy wheels highlight its athletic stance, while signature LED lighting and revised grille details set it apart visually.
Inside the cabin, drivers are greeted with alcantara-trimmed sport seats, an upgraded 12.3-inch digital cluster, and a bespoke infotainment system co-developed with Mercedes-AMG. For ultimate customization, buyers can select a range of carbon finishes, personalized stitching, and limited-run Q by Aston Martin trims.
Track Pedigree, Everyday Usability
While the Vantage S is more focused than its base counterpart, Aston Martin insists it remains a “highly usable daily sports car.” Ride comfort has not been sacrificed, and the included adaptive damping system allows for real-time adjustment based on driving conditions.
Aston Martin’s chief technical officer, Roberto Fedeli, commented: “The Vantage S embodies the true spirit of a modern Aston Martin – fast, visceral, precise, and stunningly beautiful. It bridges the gap between road car and race car, offering our most engaged Vantage yet.”
Launch and Price
The 2026 Aston Martin Vantage S is expected to launch globally in early Q1 of 2026, with a starting price of $120,000 USD. Orders are now open, with limited allocations planned for the first production year.
With its blend of heritage, high performance, and advanced technology, the 2026 Vantage S signals a new era for Aston Martin’s sports car lineup — thrilling enthusiasts while staying true to its racing soul.
